OUTREACH PROJECTS

Please remember to save General Mills Box Tops for Education and Campbell product labels for the Navajo Lutheran Mission in Rock Point, Arizona. A collection box is located on the ½ round table in the lobby of the CLC. General Mills Box Tops are redeemed for cash which help support the costs in running the mission school. Campbell labels are collected to help with the purchase of 16 passenger vans, used to transport children and adults to the school and church.

Equal Exchange, Fairly Traded Gourmet Coffee

Did you buy your coffee this week? A great selection of “Equal Exchange” coffee is available for sale in the lobby of CLC. “Equal Exchange” was founded in 1986 to create a new approach to trade, one that includes honest and fair trade relationships with cooperative principles. As a worker-owned co-op, Equal Exchange offers consumers fairly traded gourmet coffee direct from small-scale farmer co-ops in Latin America, Africa and Asia, who otherwise would never know how much they would get for their coffee crops.

Purchasing “fair trade” coffee helps to bring about positive changes for these small farmers and their families.

CHOCOLATE BARS ALSO "FOR SALE"

Food Pantry

Non perishable food items and toiletries are welcome to the Food Basket in the CLC! Once a month, food received here is distributed to three local pantries: PACS in Phoenixville, Lords Pantry in Downingtown and Cluster Outreach Center in Pottstown. Thanks for donating!

Ink Cartridges

The empty ink cartridge collection box is located on table in CLC. Empty cartridges are mailed for rebates, which benefit Youth Ministry projects.

Dead Batteries

Dead batteries collected are taken to the recycle center in South Pottstown. The center, located on Elm Street, is open Tuesday and Saturday.
